Are you voting for McCain? If so, I’d like to know why. There’s no ulterior motive, there’s no agenda other than that I want to understand what’s motivating you. If it’s because you think war heroes are awesome, that’s fine. If you think Obama is a disaster waiting to happen, that’s fine too. If you hate McCain but feel as though he’s the lesser of two evils then that’s fine too. I just want to know. And if you’re planning on voting for Obama, I’m asking the same question here.

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. George Santayana
Think of it as the election of 1976 where the Republicans had screwed up so badly that America was so desperate for a leader that they elected the all time worst President, Jimmy Carter. Jimmy took America from an unpopular war in an economic slowdown into a castrated superpower with a failing economy where the “Misery Index” was created. Economic policy was so bad that Home Mortgage rates were 15% to a high of 23%. Inflation was at almost 10% as well as unemployment at over 10%. It was so bad that I remember my parents naming our three pigs Jimmy, Roselyn and Amy.
Barack Obama is about to make the same mistakes. Compare his policy to Carters failed policy. http://tmq2.wordpress.com/category/jimmy-carter/jimmy-carter-profile-in-incompetence/
I don’t think John McCain is the messiah but he is better than the alternative.
Anytime any party has total control they have wreaked havoc on America. You could read the rest of my comparison at http://www.eransworld.com/my-rants/110/
Plain and simple, Obama is not who he portrays himself to be. Even the fascade they have created isn’t worth my vote. He is a socialist. An American president should not pal around with the radicals Obama has.
Obama has no backbone. How will he defend us against terrorism or despots when he refuses to protect the weakest among us? The unborn child, and even those infants that are born during a botched abortion.
Besides, Obama will be so indebted to the corruption in Chicago that got him where he is today that he won’t be pulling the strings.
The man is wrong on everything.
McCain is not my favorite. He is still a politician, but, the lesser of two evils. At least he has a backbone and “gets it”.
Just because Obama is smooth doesn’t mean he should be president. Then again, he has only been smooth because he hasn’t been asked ANY tough questions, except for Joe The Plumber. God Bless Joe the Plumber! The audacity the Obama campaign has to SMEAR and average citizen! What will he do as president? They already bully tv and radio stations when they don’t want them to interview people detrimental to Obama’s campaign. Absolutely despicable!
Are you going to ask who’s voting none of the above?
I hate thinking that McCain is my only option because with a fillabuster proof congress and the most liberal senator at the head of this country there will be no checks nor balances- and the country will run amuck.
If only Ross Perot was running this year…
Isn’t it obvious-there is just too much that a democratic controlled congress and white house could do to wreak havoc upon our values, our economy, our security, our freedom, and our identity as Americans. It is so clear that Obama will take us down the road to socialism and even communism at light-speed. The only guy with any hope of defeating Obama is McCain, and so I’m voting for him. I know that McCain, at least, truly does love and serve his country. No-one really knows the real Obama, but it is clear that his views have been shaped by those people he grew up with and worked with (the ones we’re not supposed to talk about).
