What is this section about?

I’m creating a new category called “My California Platform.” No, I’m not running for governor. I’m not sure I’d be cut out for politics or government because I like to get things done and the inefficiencies of government might put me over the edge were I ever to work in government or with it. Just the same, this category will contain posts on various topics that would form my platform were I to run for for Governor of California. I’ll do another one for President. I mostly see this as a way to formulate my thoughts on various issues and give myself motivation to learn more about them. Plus if I ever do go into politics and actually make something of myself then I’m sure this will become excellent fodder for those who want to take me down.
