There’s politics and then there’s pure politics. You can’t change the country for the better without getting involved in the political system. That’s politics. But when you get so involved in the system that you lose sight of anything else and see the entire world in terms of politics, then that’s pure politics, and it’s what the Constitution was designed to put restraints on.
