Planned Parenthood – Your Tax Dollars at Work

I think we’re getting closer to the point where people are just going to come right out and admit that what they really want is to be able to have sex in the streets like dogs and have no negative consequences attached. Well, if that’s what you really want, you should just go ahead and move to Rio de Janeiro where that kind of behavior is widely accepted. They’ve also got 2 million people living in crime-ridden slums where life is cheap and any attempt to improve the situation might conflict with the objectives of drug dealers and result in you waking up dead. I guess there are consequences no matter where you go.

Reading through the list of archived podcasts on Planned Parenthood’s website makes me feel like our society is doomed. When you’ve got a powerful organization promoting topics like Masturbation in the Prison System and sending the hosts to “take a field trip to a local piercing parlor to learn about the ways that some men adorn their penises and testicles” you’ve got to wonder how much lower they can go. These are the same people “advising” your teenager about what the term “sexual health” means. They are vehemently opposed to abstinence-based sex education programs, and guess what? About $500M of your tax dollars go to support their budget each year.

If I were President I can tell you one of the first things I’d do is work to find a way to cut off taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood and similar organizations asap. To be fair, I’d also cut it taxpayer funding to organizations on the other side of things. I don’t think it’s the federal government’s role to be involved with sex education or healthcare in the first place. Is it in the Constitution anywhere?

What in the world is wrong with promoting the idea that the best way to avoid the risks with “risky” behavior is to not behave that way? The left does it all the time, even legislating against risky behavior! “Don’t smoke”, “Wear a helmet” or “seatbelt”, etc.

In fact, it seems like you are correct in stating a couple of obvious facts: 1) “Liberals want people to be able to have sex with anyone (or anything) in any way at any time in any place”. 2) If it is a religious organization saying it is risky to do something, and promoting that idea, then that is unacceptable!

OK, wait a second – I think I just realized something: There is really only ONE obvious fact, since it isn’t obvious that they mind a religion telling you not to smoke (less obvious, but still true since they don’t want the tax revenue from smokers to go away).

Is it just me, or is it really impossible to logically analyze the left and their positions?
